Major Duties :

• Providing counselling and learning support services for students as individuals and groups;
  
• Maintaining and monitoring effective referral mechanisms, both for teachers and students;
  
• Liaising with SEN coordinator to ensure effective flow of information;
  
• Working with colleagues in SEN Committee as required;
  
• Working closely with parents and guardians;
  
• Developing and maintaining relationships with external organisations and community support services;
  
• Carrying out relevant administrative tasks, including updating and maintaining records of students' progress.

• Recognized tertiary or higher education qualifications in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or other relevant disciplines;
  
• A sound understanding of, and ability to work within, the existing social worker's code of ethics;
  
• Fluent in English and Cantonese;
  
• Recognized qualifications for special education needs;
  
• Experience with small-group interventions with young people, preferably in a school setting.
