IBDP / HKDSE Economics & Humanities Teacher (2026-2027)
St Stephen's College is a co-educational secondary school. Our scenic campus resides in the heart of Stanley, the southern tip of Hong Kong Island. We provide boarding services to 400 students, who are under the care and guidance of our resident teachers. We pride ourselves on our strong Christian ethos, expansive learning environment, outstanding staff, and forward-looking initiatives.
Under the Direct Subsidy Scheme, St Stephen's is an IB world school. We provide a dual-track programme (the IBDP and the HKDSE) for senior secondary levels. We are looking for passionate people to join our dynamic learning and teaching community.
Descriptions
- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a closely related field. Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant Humanities major (e.g., History, Economics, Politics).
- Teaching Certification : A PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education), PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), or equivalent recognized teaching license.
- Experience : Previous experience teaching IB Diploma Programme Economics (HL / SL) is an advantage. Proven track record of IBDP, HKDSE, IGCSE A-level score improvements.
- Skills : Strong command of English and communication skills. Ability to foster critical thinking, data-driven instruction, familiarity with digital tools and excellent classroom management.
