Contract Programme Supervisor

H.O.P.E. Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities

Duties :
(a) Responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of mass programmes / activities and language services for targeted service users. (b) Generate ideas and action plan to enhance service delivery. (c) Recruit, supervise and train the members / interns / volunteers of the Centre. (d) Assist the Centre-in-charge in the staff supervision, training and performance management of the assigned unit staff.
Requirements :
(a) A recognized Bachelor's Degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent. (b) Preferably to have at least one year of relevant work experience in supervisory capacity and programme coordination. (c) Direct work experience in developing and monitoring a variety of mass programmes / other groups and programmes in local community. (d) Ability to develop programme management plan, achieve performance results, monitor and evaluate staff and programmes. (e) Proven ability to network with other agencies and generate resources for the programmes.
Other Requirements :
(a) Good command of oral and written English. (b) Able to read, write and effectively communicate in Chinese and/or any EM language is an advantage. (c) Demonstrate positive and self-motivated attitude, and ability to work independently with minimum supervision. (d) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. (e) Ability to work effectively in multi-cultural team and work environment. (f) Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. (g) Required to work by roster arrangement which may include evening duties and weekends (Saturdays / Sundays).
