Full-time (Contract) Native-speaking English Teacher (NET)
We are inviting applications for the post Full-time (Contract) Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) (EDB NET Grant) starting from 01/09/2026.
Descriptions
Requirements :
- A native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English proficiency
- Holder of HKID or valid working visa
- A Bachelor's degree in any subject from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent
- A Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a TEFL / TESL qualification at certificate level, or equivalent
- Valid IELTS results (overall band score of 7.5 or above, with "Speaking" band score of 7.5 or above)
- A pass in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST)
** Applicants must meet all the appointment and qualification requirements of NETs in primary schools set by EDB.
Preference will be given to applicants with :
- Experience in teaching English in primary schools
Main Duties :
- Conduct regular English lessons
- Design teaching materials and a school-based curriculum
- Foster an English-rich environment both inside and outside classroom by organizing a variety of activities
- Offer support to the English panel as a resourceful teammate
