Contract Period :
1 year (renewable subject to satisfactory performance)
Requirements :
Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Degree qualification or above in social work; at least Level 2 or equivalent in Chinese and English in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE); or Grade E or above in Chinese and English in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); fluent in verbal and written English and Chinese; Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; experience in counselling and in serving Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) students and/or ethnic minorities service is preferred
Duties :
Reaching out to hidden substance abusers with ethnic minority background; supporting and providing counselling services to ethnic minority individuals and families troubled by substance abuse; Organizing anti-drug workshops and seminars; Raising awareness among young people of the dangers of substance abuse and its legal consequences
Working Hour :
39 net hours per week; may be required to work on evening shifts, Sundays, and public holidays
Location : Southern District
Salary :
$36,850 (Starting from MPS Pt.16, commensurate with working experience)
