Sheng Kung Hui St. Christopher's Home, founded in 1935, began as an orphanage taking care of homeless children. Currently, the Home is the largest non-governmental organization in Hong Kong providing small group home service for children who cannot receive adequate family care with the mission to create and sustain a caring environment for children and youth to grow, to develop potentials and to live a life of fullness. Throughout the years, in meeting the society's evolving needs, St. Christopher's Home has started and is now providing multi child-focused social services and projects in Hong Kong, including Foster Care Service, Nursery, Social Work Service for Pre-primary Institutions, Clinical Psychological Service, Service for Children with Special Educational Needs, Family Support Service as well as Youth Co-living Project. The Agency is looking for high caliber candidates in resource development and marketing for the above position.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial operations, and maintaining oversight of the Home's overall financial position.
- Develop, review, and implement financial policies and operational procedures.
- Prepare annual budgets, monthly financial reports, and quarterly board reports; conduct variance and performance analyses.
- Review accounting entries, bank reconciliations, and monitor cash flow and cash balances.
- Prepare annual financial statements for submission to the Social Welfare Department, Education Bureau and auditors.
- Manage and oversee funding applications, including SWD, Community Chest, Hong Kong Jockey Club, Lotteries Fund and other funding bodies.
- Provide financial analysis, forecasts and professional recommendations to the CEO.
- Support the launch and implementation of online financial systems, including data migration, staff training, and post implementation support.
- Chair and participate in meetings and respond to accounting related enquiries from staff.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, where at least 3 years in a supervisory role; experience in NGO or social service settings is preferred.
- Extensive experience in managing cross functional teams, with expertise in resource integration and collaborative.
- Familiar with the latest accounting and auditing standards, financial reporting requirements, and ESG reporting guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese Word Processing.
- Self motivated, disciplined, and able to work with high integrity; strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- CPA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
