The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA) is a multifaceted unit overseeing undergraduate admissions, scholarships, and financial aid, and plays a strategic role in advancing the University's admissions goals. The appointee will support local student recruitment and admissions initiatives, and will be responsible for (a) processing applications and admissions-related data, maintaining accurate records and databases, and carrying out admissions procedures in accordance with established policies and guidelines; (b) providing administrative and logistical support for student recruitment, outreach and promotional activities, including school visits, consultation sessions and major admission events; (c) liaising with internal units and external stakeholders, and handling enquiries from prospective students, parents and teachers; (d) compiling statistics, reports and other admissions information, and supporting the operation of admissions-related systems, websites and digital platforms; and (e) performing other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work irregular hours to support admissions outreach, student recruitment and promotional activities.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree; (ii) at least 3 years' post-qualification work experience, preferably in higher education, admissions, student recruitment, project co-ordination, or a related field; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (iv) good organisational, analytical and communication skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; (v) the ability to follow instructions effectively, manage assigned tasks independently and reliably, and work collaboratively as part of a team; and (vi) a responsible, positive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment. Having knowledge of the local higher education sector, and experience in JUPAS admissions, student recruitment, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, or database management will be an advantage. The position is well suited to candidates who are intellectually curious, capable of excelling in both people-oriented engagement and analytical work. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test as part of the selection process.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
