The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative and logistical support for academic activities organised by various centres under the School, including conferences, seminars and lectures; (b) processing library card applications for church workers; (c) providing secretarial support to the Christian Study Centre on Chinese Religion and Culture (CSCCRC); (d) handling book sales and stock management; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iii) good interpersonal and organisational skills; (iv) the ability to work independently, as a team member and under pressure; and (v) good mastery of desktop computing tools (such as MS applications). Having experience in organising and promoting activities for Christian churches and/or knowledge of Christian theology is/are preferred.

Appointment will initially be made on a 3-month contract commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
