(A) Full-time Native-speaking English Teacher (NET)
Descriptions and Requirements :
Applicants should adhere to the requirements set by the EDB, including :
- Native English speaker;
- A recognized Bachelor's Degree;
- Holder of HKID or valid working visa;
- Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) OR a Teaching English as a Foreign / Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at certificate level;
- Valid IELTS results (overall band score of 7.5 or above, with "Speaking" band score of 7.5 or above);
- Pass in Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) is preferred but not a must;
- Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) is required;
- Self-funded medical check may be required;
- Teaching English lessons, and organizing and hosting English activities;
- Be proactive to promote an English-speaking culture and be flexible to work under tight schedules.
(B) Native-speaking English Teaching Assistants (NTAs)
Descriptions and Requirements :
- A native-speaker of English or who possess native-speaker English competence;
- Holder of HKID or valid working visa;
- A Bachelor's degree in any subject, or equivalent;
- Must pass in Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) scheme;
- Self-funded medical check may be required.
