Hold a recognized degree or higher in social work, counselling, psychology, or nursing (psychiatric). Individual consideration will be given to those with an associate degree or diploma level education
Possess at least three years of experience in other counselling hotlines or mental health work
Have a solid foundation in counselling and knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other short-term interventions
Proficient in both Chinese and English, with strong skills in office software, familiarity with Chinese and English input methods, and the application of AI technology
Preference will be given to candidates fluent in South Asian or Southeast Asian languages
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Supervisor
Primarily work during overnight shifts, supervising mental health support hotline handlers in providing emotional support, crisis and needs assessment, intervention, or service referrals to the public
Provide training and regular supervision to hotline workers
Familiar with providing counselling through online platform
Required to work rotating shifts on weekdays and weekends, with the ability to work at least three overnight shifts per week (night shift allowance provided)
