Senior Teacher in IT Development

Descriptions
Job Description :
- Focuses on use of IT for the promotion of curriculum and pedagogical innovation while ensuring sustainable development of IT in education
- Provides technology vision and leadership in the long-range development and implementation of eLearning of the primary school
- Oversees all of the IT technical aspects of the school
- Develops and manages strategies to provide training for teachers and admin staff
- Evaluates existing technology, information systems, research new solutions and technologies and recommend changes
- Takes up teaching duties
Requirements :
- Sound knowledge and experience of development of eLearning in Hong Kong
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all teachers, students, parents and admin staff
- A Degree in Computer Science or related field with training in education
- Seven years of experience working in an IT department that supports many functional departments; at least three years should include IT managerial and leadership accountabilities in an education environment
- A thorough understanding of technology in education, a proven ability to provide creative technology solutions and ability to efficiently implement advanced technologies required
- Must be able to communicate clearly at all levels
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
