Finance Manager

Founded in 1963, SAHK has been upholding its belief in "Succeed and Advance" and dedicatedly provides a wide range of rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities in four core services, namely "Children and Family Support Service", "Special Education", "Adult Service" and "Community Support Service", in order to realise their full potential, enhance their independency, and assist them to integrate into the society. We are now inviting applicants with high calibre to take up the post of Finance Manager of the Association.

Descriptions

Role and Responsibility :

  • Oversee daily accounting operations of the Association
  • Manage periodic accounting closing and prepare accurate financial reports
  • Conduct financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with relevant rules, regulations and internal policies across service units
  • Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and internal control procedures
  • Support system development, enhancement and maintenance
  • Supervise and train staff to improve efficiency and performance of operations
  • Liaise with external auditors, bankers, government authorities and funding bodies
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments and other duties as required

Requirement and Qualification :
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • Qualified Accountant, member of HKICPA, ACCA or other recognized professional accounting bodies is a must
  • Minimum 7 years of solid experience in accounting / audit in sizable organizations, including at least 4 years of post-qualification experience
  • Prior working experience in NGOs and audit fields is an advantage
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical and leadership abilities

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
