The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing executive support to the University Secretariat in legal compliance, governance, statutory and regulatory matters; (b) providing administrative support in any legislative amendment exercise carried out by the University; (c) assisting the University Secretariat in supporting the work of the Council and Council Committees; (d) providing support in the planning, co-ordination and implementation of the Council elections and the relevant work; (e) overseeing the digitalisation of documents; and (f) performing other projects and tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree; (ii) fulfilled the language requirements set out on the website : https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo ; (iii) at least 3 years' relevant post-qualification executive experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector; (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) high level of computer literacy; (vi) strong organisational and problem-solving skills; and (vii) a good team player with a meticulous mindset, self-motivation, and a high level of flexibility and adaptability. Prior work experience in office automation or legal support will be considered an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity.
