Qualification for Appointment under EDB's PNET Scheme :

The applicant should be :
Currently working as an EDB NET on the EDB's PNET scheme or can satisfy the EDB's uplifted requirements for EDB NETs namely.

The applicant should be / possess

• A native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence;
  
• A relevant Bachelor's degree majoring in the study of English from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; or a Bachelor's degree in any subject, and a higher degree majoring in the study of English or related subject from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
  
• A Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) majoring in English Language, or equivalent; and
  
• A Teaching English as a Foreign / Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at least at certificate level, or equivalent.
  
• A Sexual Conviction Record Check issued by Hong Kong Police Force is required.

• A native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence;
  
• A Bachelor's degree majoring in any subject from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
  
• A Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or A Teaching English as a Foreign / Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at least at certificate level, or equivalent.
  
• A pass in the Basic Law and National Security Test (BLNST).
  
• Valid IELTS results (Overall 7.5+ with Speaking 7.5+).
  
• A Sexual Conviction Record Check issued by Hong Kong Police Force is required.
