Report to the Head of Communications and Fund Raising Office in developing branding and planning effective corporate communications strategies including media relations, publications, digital media and public relations
As a key personnel to manage the Associations' social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, not limited to developing meaningful content and visuals for public education and brand building
Accompany the General Secretary to events, press conferences, public activities, and ceremonies during irregular hours to provide on-site support and coordination that encompasses brand representation, media liaison, and reputation management
Manage copywriting, editing, proofreading and translating various printed and digital collaterals for donors and engaging content for various channels, including annual reports, newsletters, donation appeal letters, press releases, etc. in English and Chinese languages
Able to develop interesting and creative multimedia visuals, aiming to enliven the communication messages effectively
Collaborate with internal and external parties in content creation and production. Act as a content gatekeeper for the Association
Collaborate with senior management on media monitoring, issue and opportunity identification, and incident communications management
Perform other corporate communications duties as assigned. Support in ad hoc tasks is needed
Requirements :
Degree or above in Journalism, Digital Marketing, Communications or related disciplines
Minimum 4 years relevant working experience, experience in working with NGO is preferred
Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Communications and Public Relations Manager
Experience in digital marketing and familiar with the culture and trend of social media network
Excellent written English and Chinese, editing and translation skills with experience in printed / online publishing
Good with Photoshop, AI and InDesign system is highly preferred
Basic photography skill will be an advantage
Good communication skills. Self-motivated, detail orientated, well-mannered, out-going, creative, with pleasant character
Flexible with working hours and variable schedule
Experience in event planning and management is a plus
Immediately available is highly preferred
