The Master of Social Science in Sustainable Tourism (MSSST) is a distinctive postgraduate programme presented by the Department of Geography and Resource Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2007. It has a strong focus on resource management issues, tourism policies and ecotourism practices in Hong Kong, in greater China and around the world.

The programme adopts a natural resource-based perspective and incorporates resource management and environmental management principles. In practice, sustainable tourism promotes the development of tourism industry taking into consideration the environment, resource and sustainability issues.

This is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time Programme. Students need to complete 24 out of 30 credit units for graduation. All lectures will be offered in weekday evening at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) campus. Field trips will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays.
