Registered Occupational Therapist (Full-time / Part-time)
D5 is a specialist private clinic providing neurological and stroke rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, ADL / IADL training, adaptive aids and splintage, wheelchair assessment, home assessment and community reintegration.
Descriptions
This role offers unique clinical exposure and professional development in local private medical and rehabilitation settings, with focused experience in neurological and stroke rehabilitation.
Responsibilities :
- Assess and treat clients with stroke, other neurological conditions, and medical / geriatric needs
- Provide centre-based and home-based occupational therapy, including ADL / IADL training, upper-limb and hand function training, cognitive rehabilitation, and community reintegration
- Prescribe adaptive aids, splints and wheelchairs as required
- Document assessments, treatment plans and progress
- Communicate with families, caregivers, referring parties and other allied health professionals
Requirements :
- Degree in Occupational Therapy recognised in Hong Kong
- Registered with the Occupational Therapists Board of Hong Kong with a valid practising certificate (Part I or Part II)
- Final-year OT students pending a practising certificate and fresh graduates are welcome
- Fluent Cantonese and English; good written Chinese and English
Preferred Attributes :
- Completed the Neuro-IFRAH® Certification Course in the Treatment and Management of Adults with Hemiplegia from a Stroke or Brain Injury, or other Neuro-IFRAHR advanced courses
- Passion for building a career in neurological / stroke rehabilitation
- Able to work independently
- Good communication with clients, families and referring parties
- Mature, responsible, self-motivated and flexible
