Social Worker (Full-time / Part-time)
The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (hereunder as 'HKSR') is a pioneer in rehabilitation dedicated to providing holistic and personalized services to empower persons with disabilities, chronic illnesses or challenges of aging to lead fulfilling lives, and to advocate for an inclusive society. We are a non-governmental organization receiving subvention from government and funds from private donors and other sources. Key Responsibilities :
- Provide social support services, including center-based services, home visits, and hospital visits, to pneumoconiosis and mesothelioma patients and their caregivers
- Perform administration tasks related to the project and center operations
- Work with a team of health care professionals on service development
Requirements :
- Registered Social Worker with Higher Diploma or Associate Degree in Social Work or above
- At least 8 years of post-registration social work experience
- Experience in counselling services and casework is preferred
- A strong team player and able to work independently
- Saturday duty is required on a need basis
The successful candidate will normally be appointed on contract terms. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service / operational needs of the department and the candidate's performance.
