The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support to the operations of the Department's postgraduate programme and programme-related activities; (b) handling student matters; (c) providing administrative and logistical support to teaching and learning matters; (d) co-ordinating seminars; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education; (ii) Grade E / Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English) : Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, "Attained" or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (iii) proficiency in computer applications, including Chinese word-processing, and MS PowerPoint and Excel; (iv) a good command of spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and good communication and interpersonal skills; and (vi) the ability to work independently in a team-based environment. Having experience in handling postgraduate programmes is an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
