St. Paul's Co-educational College is a Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) school in Hong Kong. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Finance. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and managing the College's financial operations under supervision of the Director of Finance. This pivotal position calls for a strategic thinker who is meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to balance strong analytical capabilities with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Descriptions
Responsibilities :
Oversee all accounting and finance functions of the College and its affiliated primary school
Handle payroll administration for all staff
Manage the school fee remission scheme
Prepare and monitor annual budget
Manage the treasury function for Schools and Council
Provide support for meetings, including preparation of minutes and financial reports
Ensure compliance with EDB requirements on DSS schools (i.e. grants, reporting, endorsements)
Requirements :
Degree holder in Accounting or a related discipline
Member of a professional accountancy body preferred
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, including 4 years in a supervisory role
Preferably experience working in a school setting, especially DSS schools
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Fully proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), experience with FlexAccount is an advantage
Mature, reliable, independent, meticulous, detail-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated, good interpersonal and leadership skills
