Zhizhen School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences is looking for a Computer Technician II to support IT services within the School. The appointee will be responsible for (a) daily inspection, maintenance, fault analysis, and handling of computer servers; (b) configuring and managing IT infrastructure and equipment, including firewalls, networking equipment, and related devices; (c) providing technical support and troubleshooting to end-users to resolve IT issues; (d) overseeing IT equipment inventory and ensuring proper maintenance; (e) providing on-site technical support during non-office hours occasionally; (f) maintaining and updating the School's websites and social media; and (g) undertaking special projects and performing any other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Diploma / Certificate from a recognised university or technical institute, preferably with a good Bachelor's degree, in Computer Science / Studies, Information Engineering, or related disciplines; (ii) proficiency in computer networking, office automation, security incident handling, and technical support for the setup and renovation of server rooms, offices, and seminar rooms; (iii) excellent communication and presentation skills; (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and organisational skills; (vi) a self-motivated work attitude with a strong sense of responsibility; and (vii) the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team with flexibility and creativity. Having experience in or knowledge of system administration and network / user management will be advantageous.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
