The appointee will be responsible for (a) developing projects for mechatronic courses; (b) providing technical support to teaching and research laboratories, student projects and student competitions; (c) operating and maintaining various machines, such as 3D printers and laser cutting machines; and (d) performing other tasks as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above in Science or Engineering; and (ii) a solid knowledge of microcontroller-based hardware design and software development. Having at least 1 to 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience will be an advantage.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
