New Networks Initiative at Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities : Funded by the Home Affairs Department, the "Youth Network " and "Women Network" is to be set up from 1 April 2026 to further strengthen support for ethnic minority (EM) youth and women at H.O.P.E. Centre and D.R.E.A.M. Centre respectively.

Interpretation and Translation Services for Ethnic Minorities
(H.O.P.E. Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities)
Duties :
(a) Develop service plan to deliver the interpretation and translation service for ethnic minorities. (b) Generate ideas and action plans to enhance the service delivery. (c) Recruit, supervise and train the centre's seniors, interpreters / translators and language ambassadors / interns. (d) Provide supervision and training for language ambassadors / interns. (e) Prepare orientation for the new hires and conduct training regularly to enhance service quality.
Requirements :
(a) A recognized Bachelor's degree or above, major in translation. (b) Preferably to have 2-3 years' direct work experience in the translation field. (c) Good command of oral and written English. (d) Demonstrate a positive and self-motivated attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision. (e) Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline. (f) Able to work in a multicultural team and in a work environment. (g) Proficient in computer skills and MS Office.
** Post will be on contract basis.
