Interpretation and Translation Services for Ethnic Minorities
(H.O.P.E. Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities)

Duties :
(a) Provide interpretation services in the office, outreach or at any venue assigned by the Team Leader. (b) Provide written translation as assigned by the Team Leader. (c) Ensure compliance and consistent adherence to the principles, ethnics and target goals set.

Requirements :
(a) Preferably with relevant work experience in translation / interpretation or customer service / social service. (b) A recognized Bachelor's degree or above, or at least 3 passes or above in Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) / at least Level 3 in 3 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or above, or equivalent. (c) Fluent in at least one EM language (able to read, write and speak), preferably in Hindi and Punjabi.

Other Requirements :
(a) Good command of oral and written English. (b) Demonstrate a positive and self-motivated attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision. (c) Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline. (d) Able to work in a multicultural team and in a work environment. (e) Proficient in computer skills and MS Office.

** Post will be on contract basis.
