Descriptions

Requirements :

  • The applicant should be a native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence
  • The applicant should obtain the following qualifications :
    (i) a Bachelor's degree in any subject from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; and
    (ii) a Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a Teaching English as a Foreign / Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at certificate level, or equivalent; and
    (iii) valid IELTS results (overall band score of 7.5 or above, with "Speaking" band score of 7.5 or above)
    (iv) passed the Basic Law and National Security Law Test
  • Candidates who do not entirely fulfill the above may also apply for an Assistant NET

Duties :
  • Cultivate a rich, entertaining, and authentic environment for students to learn English
  • Organise English activities in a whole-school approach
  • Conduct speaking and Language Arts lessons; with similar teaching experience preferred
  • Produce teaching resources
