The programme covers legal systems in the Greater China area, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Mainland, focusing on business and legal terminology, usage, style, and syntax. Students will master essential writing, translating, and interpreting skills through hands-on tasks, thereby gaining insights into the translation industry in the major Chinese regions. Graduates will be well equipped to meet the challenges of the fast-evolving language services industry, particularly in business and legal translation.

本課程涵蓋两岸四地的法律制度，學習商業及法律領域的術語、用法、風格和句法。學生將通過實踐任務提升寫作、筆譯和口譯技能，深入了解華人社區的翻譯行業。畢業生將能夠應對特別在商業和法律翻譯方面語言服務行業的挑戰。

Programme Information
Mode of Study: Full Time (1 year) / Part Time (2 years)
Medium of Instruction: English is the primary medium of instruction, which is supplemented by Chinese (Cantonese and/or Putonghua) in all areas of the curriculum. Exceptions are Chinese language modules, which are taught in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Putonghua).
Total Number of Credits: 27 credits
