Social Worker II (P2-SW2-ECS)

Descriptions
** The post is under Non-LSG3.
Requirements :
- Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a registered social worker under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance;
- English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language at Grade E or above in HKCEE / Level 2 in HKDSE;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in elderly or community care services;
- Strong commitment to and passionate in serving vulnerable and needy older persons;
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Job Duties :
- Implement the Hong Kong Jockey Club Pilot Project on Enhancing Support for Hidden Elderly in Aged Public Housing Estates;
- Provide casework and case management services to hidden and needy elderly persons and their families;
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate groups, programmes and community activities;
- Conduct outreach, engagement and support services for elderly service users;
- Assist in the administration and daily operation of the unit;
- Support the implementation of elderly and carer support projects, service innovation initiatives and service development activities of the team;
- Liaise and collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Working Hours : 44 hours gross per week and on shift
Working Location : Kwun Tong District
Regular staff can entitle benefits include annual leave, marriage leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, sick leave, compassion leave, family leave, filial leave, medical insurance, personal accident insurance, medical service discounts, MPF employer voluntary contribution up to 10%.
