Supply Teacher (Biology & Science)
A non-profit-making, co-educational EMI DSS School inviting applications for the post of Supply Teacher (Biology & Science).
Descriptions
Qualifications and Relevant Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Science or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE) is preferred.
- Relevant secondary school teaching experience is an advantage.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Pass the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST).
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Teach Biology and Integrated Science at the secondary school level.
- Conduct lessons and manage classroom activities in accordance with the department's teaching arrangements.
- Assist with marking assignments and handling related teaching duties, where applicable.
- To perform other administrative duties as assigned by the School Principal.
- Lesson substitution, if required.
Period of Appointment :
2, 10-13 & 17-18 November 2026 (Total of 7 teaching days).
Salary & Benefits :
Daily rate of pay comparable to that in Hong Kong aided schools.
