Secondary Social Worker
We are seeking an experienced Secondary Social Worker to join our Team. As a Secondary Social Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the emotional, social, and mental well-being of students, enabling them to thrive academically and personally.
Descriptions
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide individual and group student support and counseling
- Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and follow-up care
- Work closely with stakeholders to address students' academic and social-emotional needs
- Engage with families to provide guidance, resources, and support
- Connect students and families with external resources
- Develop and deliver prevention and education programs
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentations and records
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree or above in social work
- Registered Social Worker
- Minimum of three (3) years of stationed school social work experience
- Native fl uency in English, Putonghua and Cantonese
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations, including students, families, and school staff
- Strong knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and trauma-informed practices
- Experience in running Positive Education workshops is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, planning, and organization skills
- Satisfactory criminal background check
