The appointee will be responsible for (a) managing student hostels and supervising junior hostel staff; (b) organising the Asia Lions Club Thousand People Banquet and Spring Dinner for medical students; (c) co-ordinating non-residential student activities and providing secretarial support to the Sub-Committee on the Non-Residential Hall; (d) co-ordinating the College Orientation Camp with a focus on residential issues; (e) managing flats and rooms for staff and visitors; (f) organising the New Asia College Cultural Talks, and providing secretarial support to Committee on New Asia College Cultural Talks; and (g) serving as the secretary to various committees; and (h) performing other duties as assigned by the College.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iii) good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; (iv) competence in multi-tasking; and (v) the ability to work independently, and under pressure and tight schedules. Working outside normal office hours may be required.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
