The Master of Social Sciences in Public Policy and Risk Governance (MSocSc-PPRG) Programme is Hong Kong’s first postgraduate programme to place a risk perspective at the centre of policymaking. In an uncertain and rapidly evolving world, risk governance is about more than analysis – it is about governing with foresight, resilience, and responsibility. This Programme equips students interested in public administration, governance, and policy research to manage complexity and uncertainty with confidence.Graduates are prepared to work across governments, businesses, NGOs, and communities, embedding risk awareness into governance to design innovative, accountable, and sustainable policy solutions for a changing society. The Programme offers both full-time and part-time study modes.
