The BBA (Hons) Scheme in Accounting and Finance comprises three awards and gives students the flexibility to decide on a final award in their first year of study.
BBA (Hons) in Accountancy: Provides an integrated foundation for careers as accountants with required competencies and ethical awareness.
BBA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance: Exploits the synergy of both fields, preparing accountants with strong financial analysis and risk management skills.
BBA (Hons) in Digital Finance and Investment: Emphasises professional investment knowledge and hands-on experience in financial technologies.
Highly qualified academic staff share industry insights and research to enrich learning. Students apply knowledge through internships. The curriculum integrates emerging technologies such as fintech and big data.
Exchange opportunities allow study overseas or in Mainland China with credit transfer. Holistic development is supported by academic advisors who guide students in career planning and professional growth.Work Integrated Education and Professional Development
All PolyU students must complete 100 hours of Work-Integrated Education (WIE), including internships locally or overseas. The programme ensures every AF student gains practical experience before graduation. Industry talks, competitions, and mentorship programmes enhance career readiness and networking. We ensure that 100% of our AF undergraduate students complete at least one internship before graduation. Student Ambassadors also promote the School and build community through outreach events and activities.
Admission: Common Year One curriculum. JUPAS applicants with a DSE score (best 5) of 24.5+ are guaranteed their preferred Major.
Scholarships: Entry and AF Elite Scholarships reward top students, funding global exchanges and internships.
Recognition: Accredited by HKICPA, CPA Australia, and ACCA (exam exemptions apply). Programmes are also CFA Institute Affiliated.
Careers: Graduates secure roles in auditing, banking, investment management, and digital finance across HK and the Greater Bay Area.
