|Australia Awards are prestigious international Scholarships and Fellowships funded by the Australian Government. They offer the next generation of global leaders an opportunity to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia and for high-achieving Australians to do the same overseas.
|Chevening is the UK government’s international awards programme aimed at developing global leaders since 1983. Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, Chevening offers two types of award – Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships – the recipients of which are personally selected by British embassies and high commissions throughout the world.
|It offers four scholarships annually to Hong Kong permanent residents (with no citizenship in any other country) with strong academic results, personal initiatives & community leadership, financial need, and a genuine interest in living abroad. Application is open to students who have completed or are completing the HKDSE, IB or equivalent.
|Scholarships in New Zealand
|Many scholarships for international students – including PhD scholarships and scholarships for Masters’ degrees – are offered by the New Zealand Government, other governments, educational institutions and philanthropists.
|It was set up to assist qualified top students from Hong Kong who are in financial need to attend undergraduate programs in US universities. This scholarship is awarded for a maximum of 4 years.
