Descriptions

Service providers are invited to perform the role of an Oral Examiner for the Territory-wide System Assessment 2027 of Chinese Language and English Language at Primary 3, Primary 6 and Secondary 3 levels. Oral Examiners are expected to :

1. - conduct Chinese / English oral assessment in assigned schools; or
   - act as a stand-by Oral Examiner on the days of assessment (from 6:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. for both AM and PM sessions)
   
2. be available to provide assessment services on :
   - 28 and 29 April 2027 (Secondary 3 - whole day)
   - 4 and 5 May 2027 (Primary 3 - AM session)
   - 11 and 12 May 2027 (Primary 6 - AM session)
   
3. be available to attend a half-day training workshop on :
   - 6 March 2027, Saturday (AM) for Secondary 3
   - 10 April 2027, Saturday (AM or PM) for Primary 3 and 6

Applicants should have the following qualifications:

1. At least 3 years' teaching experience in the subject. This must include at least 1 year's teaching experience in the subject Key Stage(s)*
   
2. Met the Language Proficiency Requirement in English (for English Language Oral Examiners only)
   
3. Applicants who have Oral Examiner experience in the HKDSE and/or TSA will have an advantage (please state the experience in the "Other Relevant Qualifications" column under the "Academic Qualifications" page)
   
4. Advantage will be given to applicants with one of the following qualifications : (for Chinese Language - Putonghua Oral Examiners only)
   - Obtained Level 3 or above in "Speaking" of the Language Proficiency Assessment (Putonghua)
   - Passed the Test of Advanced Proficiency in Putonghua awarded by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority
   - Obtained Grade B, Level 2 or above in the Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (PSC)

* Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 refer to Primary 1-3, Primary 4-6 and Secondary 1-3 respectively.

Payment to Oral Examiner :
HK$778 per session (Primary 3 and 6) / HK$946 (Secondary 3).

Payment to Stand-by Oral Examiner :
HK$195 per session (Primary 3 and 6) / HK$237 (Secondary 3).
