Responsibilities :
Work with the Management team to assist the Director in the following areas :

• Support the Director in the planning, implementation and evaluation of psychosocial service programmes for cancer patients and their families.
  
• Oversee holistic case management, counselling and outreach services to strengthen patient and family support.
  
• Plan and coordinate educational programmes, workshops and support activities to promote holistic care and community resource connection.
  
• Supervise and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, service quality and team cohesion.
  
• Ensure proper service documentation, reporting and accountability to funders and stakeholders.
  
• Monitor programme budgets and service-related expenditures to ensure effective and responsible use of resources.
  
• Lead volunteer development and strengthen the volunteer support network.
  
• Build and maintain partnerships with hospitals, patient groups, community organisations and other key stakeholders.
  
• Support promotion and publicity initiatives to enhance service visibility and community engagement.

Requirements :

• Degree holder in Social Work or related disciplines.
  
• Registered Social Worker by the Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board.
  
• Minimum 10 years' experience in relevant fields in which a minimum of 3 years in managerial grade.
  
• Experience in mental health service or elderly service is preferable.
  
• Experience in cancer care and end-of-life care is definitely an advantage.
  
• Excellence presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  
• Strong ability in organization, coordination and execution of programmes / service.
  
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Successful candidates will be offered a renewable contract term appointment with up to 10% of total basic salary as contract-end gratuity upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
