The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA) is a multifaceted unit overseeing undergraduate admissions, scholarships, and financial aid, and play a strategic role in advancing the University's admissions goals. OAFA is looking for energetic, highly motivated, and independent candidates who are passionate about striving for excellence in admissions work and committed to attracting diverse, high-calibre students from Hong Kong and beyond. The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in the development and operational management of outreach and student recruitment activities; (b) handling applications and student admissions matters; (c) representing the University at education fairs and other recruitment events held in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland; (d) establishing and maintaining networks with schools, media and other stakeholders in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland; and (e) performing other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours and duty trips to the Chinese Mainland will be required.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree; (ii) fulfilled the language requirements set out on the website : https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo ; (iii) at least 2 years' post-qualification executive experience; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (v) strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills; (vi) good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attentiveness to detail and accuracy; (vii) good computer literacy, preferably with experience in database management, reporting and analytics tools, and social media administration; (viii) a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation and service orientation; (ix) the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure; and (x) a positive, flexible and proactive attitude, with a willingness to embrace new challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Having experience in organising promotional activities and knowledge of the Chinese Mainland education system will be an added advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
