Project Officer

Descriptions
A 3-year Jockey Club Project based at our Kowloon City Centre for Active Ageing in To Kwa Wan. The project seeks to enhance older adults' self-efficacy in chronic disease management, improve functional independence and quality of life, and strengthen health literacy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, implement and coordinate different components of the project including developing and organising health promotion programmes, recruiting elderly participants, conducting health assessments, monitoring participants' progress and outcome, etc.
- Assist in daily centre operations, including programme logistics, member engagement, and service coordination.
- Liaise with various project partners on data collection, service arrangements with the allied health team and project evaluation.
- Undertake budget monitoring and administrative duties, including procurement, the preparation of progress reports, processing reimbursement claims, maintaining project records and documentation, ensuring compliance with project and funding requirements, etc.
Requirements :
- Degree holder, preferably in Gerontology, Public Health or a related discipline.
- 5 passes in HKCEE, including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese; or attaining 5 subjects at Level 2 or above in HKDSE, including English Language and Chinese Language, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years' work experience in social welfare services, preferably in elderly or community services.
- Registered Social Worker (RSW) is an advantage.
- Proficient in spoken and written English & Chinese.
- Detail-minded and with strong interpersonal and communications skills, self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
