The School invites applications for the post of Executive Officer I/II. The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative support to the School in its new strategic initiatives, including school branding and development of a new taught postgraduate programme. Duties include (a) formulating school branding strategies; (b) co-ordinating School events, outreach and partnership activities; (c) providing supporting in programme development, marketing and operational tasks; (d) providing secretarial support to committees; and (e) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) fulfilled the language requirements set out on the website : https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo ; (iii) at least 8 years' post-qualification executive experience (For Executive Officer I), (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (v) relevant administrative, managerial or project experience; (vi) strong analytical, interpersonal communication, and organisational skills, and self-motivation; (vii) a creative, innovative and entrepreneurial work attitude; (viii) a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit; and (ix) a strong growth mindset and positive work attitude. Those with qualifications and experience appropriate to a different level of appointment will be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
