H.O.P.E. Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities

Duties :
(a) Plan and design the programmes and activities for ethnic minorities. (b) Coordinate and organize class schedules, outside activities and programmes. (c) Recruit, supervise and evaluate the participants, resource persons and volunteers. (d) Assist in developing and strengthening the network with the local and international organizations, government departments and other related organizations serving ethnic minorities.

Requirements :
(a) Proven work experience and ability to develop course design, training programmes in the service assigned.

Other Requirements :
(a) Completed Form 5 / HKDSE / secondary school or above. (b) Knowledge of the culture of ethnic minorities service users. (c) Proven experience and ability to create a network of partners, volunteers and support systems to ensure effective programme development. (d) Good command of oral and written English. (e) Able to read, write and effectively communicate in Chinese and/or any EM language is an advantage. (f) Demonstrate positive and self-motivated attitude, and ability to work independently with minimum supervision. (g) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. (h) Ability to work in multi-cultural team and work environment. (i) Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. (j) Have a valid work visa and flexibility to work at irregular hours, weekends and holidays as the Centre opens from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm daily except Monday mornings, shift duties is required.
