The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in the review, drafting and administration of intellectual property ("IP") and technology transfer agreements; (b) providing legal and administrative support on general legal and IP matters; (c) liaising with internal and external stakeholders on case management; (d) supporting committee work and preparing relevant documentation; and (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Law; (ii) fulfilled the language requirements set out on the website : https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo ; (iii) at least 2 years' relevant post-qualification executive experience, preferably in law firms, in-house legal departments or tertiary institutions; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) strong interpersonal and communication skills; (vi) strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to identify and assess legal issues and risks; (vii) the ability to work as a good team player who is responsible, detail-oriented and proactive; and (viii) proficiency in computer applications. Having experience in handling IP and technology transfer agreements will be advantageous.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
