JC C-For-Chinese in Primary Schools (Tentative)

Contract Period : 1-year full-time

Requirements :
Registered social worker with a diploma in Social Work or above; Have attained Level 2 or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), or Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese and English, in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; At least 1 year of work experience in social work and preferably working with Ethnic Minority families. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with children, teachers and professionals effectively; Ability to read and write English proficiently, and speak fluent English and simple Cantonese

Duties :
Lead liaison with primary schools; Provide direct support to NCS students and families, including follow-up and parent intervention; Plan and implement parent groups and family activities; Coordinate with schools on service needs and referrals; Support community service implementation, documentation, and review within the assigned area

Working Hour :
39 net hours per week (excluding meal break); 2-3 evening shifts per week; May be required to work on Sundays and Public Holidays

Location : Territory-wide

Salary :
$25,115 (Starting from MPS Pt.9, Commensurate with working experience)
