Requirements :
For EDB NET Scheme :

be a native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence;
a relevant Bachelor's degree majoring in the study of English from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; or
a Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) majoring in English Language, or equivalent; and
a Teaching English as a Foreign / Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at least at certificate level, or equivalent.

For EDB NET Grant :

be a native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence;
a bachelor's degree in any subject from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
a PGDE or a TEFL / TESL qualification at least at certificate level, or equivalent; and
have valid IELTS results (overall band score of 7.5 or above, and "Speaking" band score of 7.5 or above).
