Social Worker
The Hong Kong Chinese Christian Churches Union (HKCCCU) is a Christian organization with a long history. Kwong Yum Care Home (Integrated Aged Care Service) is directly managed by HKCCCU. Its establishment expresses the Christian faith for both the pursuit of quality aging life and care. We are now looking for high calibre people to join the dynamic multi-disciplinary team.
Descriptions
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide counseling services, conduct therapeutic groups and organize various programmes for seniors and caregivers through spiritual end-of-life care model;
- Oversee and coordinate volunteer support service and public education programmes;
- Liaise and engage with internal and external stakeholders and funders for service promotion;
- Develop and implement innovative projects for the well-being of seniors and caregivers.
Requirements :
- A recognized bachelor degree in social work and a registered social worker.
- 2 years' post-graduation working experience in aged care service sector and experience in palliative care / end-of-life care would be an advantage.
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills as well as Christian faith and passion to serve the seniors.
- Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
