Descriptions

Applicants should :

• Be a native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence;
  
• Hold a bachelor's degree (preferably in English or Linguistics) from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; and
  
• Possess a Post-graduate Diploma in Education majoring in English (PGDE) (preferred) and/or a Teaching English as a Foreign / Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at certificate level recognized by the EDB, or equivanlent;
  
• Have valid IELTS results (overall band score of 7.5 or above, with "Speaking" band score of 7.5 or above);
  
• Have experience in teaching English at the primary level. Experience in delivering the PLPR programme, designing school-based NET curricula, integrating IT / AI in teaching and learning, and organising language-rich extra-curricular activities would be an advantage.
  
• Consent to undergo a Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC).
  
• Attain a pass in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (degree).
