Descriptions
Qualification Requirements :
- Native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence.
- Possesses a recognized a local degree or equivalent.
- Possesses a TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certificate.
- Passed the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC).
Personal Attributes :
- Patient with children with good communication skills.
- Good collaboration skills with the team.
- Be enthusiastic to promote English learning atmosphere in the school.
Job Duties :
- To undertake teaching duties, develop effective teaching strategies / activities related to the learning, teaching and assessment of English.
- To prepare learning / teaching materials for school-based curriculum development.
- To create a language-rich environment in school.
- To co-teach reading and develop school-based reading materials with the local teachers.
- Plan and conduct recess activities, school-wide English activities and extra-curricular activities after school.
- To offer support to the English team as a resource teacher.
