Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) (Non-EDB NET Scheme)
Descriptions
Requirements :
- The applicant should be a native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence.
- Preferably possess a recognized Bachelor's degree from English related discipline, with a TEFL / TESL certification completed.
- Preferably possess experience in teaching English in secondary schools.
- Pass in Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) scheme.
- Pass in Basic Law & National Security Law Test.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Develop teaching plans and create learning materials for regular classes and/or small group sessions.
- Establish a partnership with the school-based NET and engage in co-planning and co-teaching with local English teachers.
- Assist in organizing English-related activities to promote language learning
- Facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences for students.
Admitted applicants are required to produce documentary evidence of having / not having been found guilty of criminal offence, e.g. a Certificate of No Criminal Convictions (CNCC), from the countries / cities where he/ she has resided.
