The appointee will be responsible for (a) overseeing the operations of the Accounts Payable Team and ensuring the processes are incompliance with the internal controls; (b) monitoring and exercising financial controls in handling the University's ancillary services projects and related matters; (c) handling full set of books for activities under the Colleges, including student hostels, and the University's subsidiaries; and(d) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a relevant Bachelor's degree and a professional qualification in Accounting (HKICPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent); (ii) at least 4 years' post-qualification work experience in auditing and/or accounting; (iii) experience in handling full set of books; (iv) proficiency in MS Office applications; (v) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua); (vi) strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with a meticulous mindset and self-motivation; and (vii) strong communication and interpersonal skills. Having experience in using SAP is an advantage.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
