Program Officer (SS001, Services for Survivors of Sudden Death and Suicide Loss 自殺者及突然離世者親友支援服務)
Suicide Prevention Services is a registered charity providing sustainable, volunteer-based suicide prevention services in the community. It includes a 24-hour Suicide Prevention Hotline, Suicide Prevention Service for the Elderly, Services for Family with Elderly, Services for Survivors of Sudden Death and Suicide Loss, Community Education & Life Education for Youths.
Descriptions
Main Duties :
- Provide case support for the bereaved by suicide and sudden death;
- Run bereavement groups for the bereaved by suicide and sudden death;
- Coordinate volunteer service;
- Organise therapeutic and community educational programs.
Requirements :
- With recognised degree in Social Work or Counselling;
- Concrete experience in Bereavement / Family / Mental health services is preferred;
- An energetic and mature team player with strong interpersonal skills & outgoing personality;
- Independent and multi-tasking skills;
- Good PC knowledge, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
