Major Duties: (a) Providing pastoral care to students in need; (b) Supporting campus admission and orientation programmes for students with SEN; (c) Providing in-class support to students with SEN when necessary; (d) Arranging remedial lessons and / or individual coaching to students with SEN; (e) Engaging and supporting students with SEN in campus activities for promoting an inclusive culture on campus; (f) Organising workshops or coaching to students with SEN for enhancing their study skills; (g) Performing administrative duties related to special examination arrangements such as examination invigilation and support in special examination arrangement (SEA) application, etc.; (h) Adapting teaching & learning packages for students with SEN and related assessments for SEA, whenever appropriate; and (i) Providing feedback and statistics to management on the academic support works for students with SEN.

Requirements: (a) A relevant recognised degree, preferably with post-graduate qualification; (b) Preferably with at least 2 years' relevant work experience; (c) Experience in teaching and supporting students with SEN will be an advantage; (d) Strong interest and motivation, be caring in working with students with SEN; (e) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; (f) Well-versed in e-learning; and (g) Preferably with knowledge in the vocational training for hospitality industry.

Notes :

The post is at the rank of "Teaching Associate".
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English.
Successful candidates may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
