Among all the master's programmes offered by the School, the full-time MBA is a highly selective programme and is ranked globally. The students are an internationally diverse group of highly motivated professionals. The part-time MBA programme caters to the needs of working professionals in Hong Kong, Greater China and the region whose needs are centred on leadership development. These students often have high expectations on application and admissions experience besides the learning experience and development during their journey of studies.
Reporting to the Director of MBA Programmes and / or his / her delegate(s), the appointee will support the Central Administration team to (a) provide administrative and executive support to the Programme Director and Administrative Director, such as managing their daily calendars, arranging appointments and meetings with external and internal stakeholders / corporates, etc.; (b) assist in human and financial resources planning, including but not limited to preparing and managing programme budgets and accounts, handling accounting matters related to programme budgets and accounts, co-ordinating recruitment and performance review for administrative staff; (c) provide administrative support to day-to-day operation of the programme office; (d) assist in providing secretarial services to Programme's committees; and (e) perform any other impromptu duties as assigned. Working outside office hours including weekends and weekdays' evenings may be required occasionally.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience; (iii) an excellent knowledge of IT and computer applications skills; (iv) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills; and (vi) the ability to multitask, and work both independently and as a team member with a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test in addition to interview.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
